SENIOR 5’10

Coming from a long line of tennis players, senior Sebastian Elias has been carrying his family’s legacy since he began playing at four years old. He said his final year on the Bay’s team was very special to him, especially because of how close they were to being state champions, losing only in a 4-3 match against Doral Academy.

”This season was my favorite of all my years in high school. I made so many memories with this team that I will never forget,” Elias said. “This season was also the closest that we were to lifting the state champions trophy. I am still satisfied and proud that we were able to lift the district and regional trophies.”

Elias said one of his favorite parts of playing on the Bay’s team was the relationships he made throughout the years, with his teammates always supporting each other through thick and thin. With over a decade of experience, Elias committed to Clark University in hopes to make a career out of his passion.

“My teammates always push me to the max so I can reach my limits and goals in the sport,” Elias said. “My plan is to go to college for tennis and see how my level is at the end of college. If my level is good enough to play pro, I might try it. If not, I will just continue with my studies.”
